The annual Christmas lights on 34th Street is on display in Baltimore’s Hampden community.
Hampden is also home to the HonFest, one of the counties quirkiest gathering of beehive hairdos.
The lighting tradition started in 1947 where the residents displayed various Christmas decorations and continues today drawing thousands of people during the month of December to see the lights. Parking is hard to come by, so we just patiently waited in the long line of cars to drive through the neighborhood. With our car windows and sunroof open, we captured some great pictures. Hope this helps puts you in the holiday spirit.
There are lights on both sides of the street.
