Normandie Restaurant Celebrity Summit was a true five star dining experience.
During our week cruise on the Celebrity Summit we tried two specialty restaurants. The night we dined in the Normandie Restaurant it was not very busy. We had a beautiful table by the window but since it was dark outside we could not enjoy the view.
Our waiter was excellent and very attentive all evening. We started off with fancy butter shaped as a pyramid and tasty rolls. I almost hated to use the butter.
For our starter we had the Creamy Maine Lobster Bisque, which was delicious. It is brought out like this.
Then the waiter pours the bisque into the bowl. It’s all about presentation.
Next we had the Heirloom Tomato & Buffalo Mozzarella Salad.
For our entrée we both ordered the Dole Sole Veronique which was excellent.
And for dessert we both ordered the Grand Marnier Soufflé, which was scrumptious.
They provided a special treat from the pastry chef after our meal. We ate a few off the bottom before I took a picture. This was an unexpected treat.
The Normandie Restaurant charges $49 per person plus tip. We had no problem making reservations after we were on board. If you are looking for a true five star treatment, then this restaurant is for you.
