We are going back to Europe this year on vacation and I needed to secure tickets using my frequent flyer miles.
I had no luck finding tickets on my own and had recently read a blog about Award Advocate booking service. I decided to give them a try, as their rates were cheaper than the service I used last year. I needed to secure tickets in order to start planning my trip. I filled out the form on Award Advocate web site on Sunday night and waited for them to contact me.
I got a call on Monday at lunch time from Kam Ahmadi from Award Advocate. Kam is located in California, a 3 hour time difference with us, which worked in our favor. We discussed our itinerary and he took it from there. When Cam called back, we were both home from work and he was able to discuss our options with both of us. We ended up finalizing the booking without multiple calls back and forth. He was able to book tickets flying into one airport using a partner airline and returning from another airport. He was very conscientious of flight times and minimizing the taxes and fees when using frequent flyer miles to book our award tickets.
We are now booked on a Lufthansa flight to Munich with a return from Zurich on American Airline. Kam took care of everything and I was very pleased with the itinerary. It was worth the $100 per person booking fee they charge. I would not hesitate to use Award Advocate service again to book an award ticket.
Now the fun begins of planning our two weeks touring Munich, Austria and Switzerland. I have too many places I want to see and not enough time to do it in.
Have you visited Munich, Austria or Switzerland?
